While our gardens are turning on their autumn colour so are the @botanicgardenssa in the city. I am always looking for inspiration when it comes to planning new sections in our garden and the botanic gardens are a treasure trove of plants and ideas. Creating beautiful garden spaces for everyone to enjoy whilst sipping a glass of our wine is something we love doing!
How gorgeous would a deciduous conifer like this one look next to our dam? Those reflections 🙌🏼🧡🌾
Delighted to receive 95 points from @winecompanion for our 2021 Rosie May Chardonnay. 👏🏼
“Hand-picked fruit, crushed and destemmed, fermented with cultured yeast in a mix of tank and oak. Matured 12 months in French oak (15% new). Complex mealy notes sit across nectarine, peach, preserved lemon and oak spice. Thoroughly whets the appetite with just one whiff. Impressive clarity and fruit concentration. The palate rolls through in creamy, harmonious style with a solid background in bright acidity. Will age well.” Jeni Port
You can enjoy our Rosie May Chardonnay within our ‘Chardonnay Centre Stage’ wine flight during the month of May. 💛🧡💛
On Saturday we had the pleasure of hosting our Western Branch Wine & Dine Safari as part of the @tastingaustralia festival.
It was a wonderful day of food and wine spent with a great group of people. The sun shone for our walking safari and the wet weather held off until we were back in the tasting room for lunch by the fire. 🔥 (thank you Mother Nature 🙏🏼)
A huge thank you to our hospitality team for delivering another wonderful Tasting Australia event. A special mention to our chefs De Buys Nortier & Darcy Hilson and the entire kitchen crew for creating this delectable menu. Our guests were treated to a beautifully curated and thoughtful progression through five delicious courses paired with our wines.
We love hosting this experience, make sure to keep an eye out for our next Wine & Dine Safari in 2023!
