Savagnin is a French grape
variety first thought to have been Albarinio when originally planted in Australia.
Confused? So were we! In 2006 we planted a block of what we thought was Albarino,
only to find out later it was actually the rare French varietal Savagnin (sah-vah-nyan)
a white wine grape grown primarily in France’s Jura region.
