It was peak winter in the Hills today! Our creeks were flowing and our dam is now more than full. I’m not sure what top temperature we cracked today but I’d be surprised if it was double figures. I hope you managed to keep warm and dry and that there is a glass of red by the fire in your future! 🍷🔥❄️🌧...
We were delight to receive 95 points for our 2021 Rosie May Chardonnay in the 2023 Halliday Wine Companion. 👏🏼
“Hand-picked fruit, crushed and destemmed, fermented with cultured yeast in a mix of tank and oak. Matured 12 months in French oak (15% new). Complex mealy notes sit across nectarine, peach, preserved lemon and oak spice. Thoroughly whets the appetite with just one whiff. Impressive clarity and fruit concentration. The palate rolls through in creamy, harmonious style with a solid background in bright acidity. Will age well.” Jeni Port
