2010 Lil' Late (Harvest)
From Winemaker, Michael Sykes
Lil Late(Harvest), as the name suggests is a sweeter style, late harvest made from the Savagnin grape variety. A small parcel of fruit was picked from our Western Branch Road vineyard that had been left on the vine until early may. The natural raisonation that occured under the late autumn sun intensified the fruit characters delivering an elegant wine with luscious mouth feel. It has pear to quince and tropical fruit on the palate, with a clean crisp finish.
