Cascara Savagnin 2012 95 points
Fermented for one month on skins followed by 12 months in barrel, an avant garde approach that has paid huge dividens. The wine’s texture was only to be expected , but not the savoury incisiveness, hints of skin and wax, and a diamond bright finish.

The fragrant bouquet, with red and black fruits, spice and pepper, all fluttering from the masthead, accurately point the way for the elegant, lively meduim bodied palate: fine almost crispy tannins provide texture.
Rocco Shiraz 2010 94 points
Full Crimson-purple; a particularly well-balanced Adelaide Hills Shiraz; succulent black cherry and plumb fruit is supported by ripe tannins and positive oak. All of the Golding labels are good, this portrait of grandfather Rocco especially so.
